I’m Michael Scheid, a car enthusiast and founder of Scheid Customs. What started as a fixing my own car with one off parts evolved into a mission: to design, innovate, and build unique parts for car enthusiasts like myself. Whether it’s breathing new life into discontinued parts, creating one-off custom components, or modernizing classic JDM icons, my goal is simple — make cool things for any car I can get my hands on.

With years of hands-on experience in 3D modeling, and 3D printing. I focus on high-quality, functional designs that bring both form and function to your build. Every product is carefully engineered, ensuring precision, durability, and a perfect fit.

About Me

I'm Michael — a Biomedical Science major at Texas A&M University, and my love for cars started when I watched Top Gear with my dad. When I bought my 1991 MR2 Turbo, I quickly realized that many of the parts I needed to make the car feel complete simply weren’t available. So, I taught myself how to design and fabricate, and started making them myself.

What keeps me going is knowing that every part I create brings someone closer to their dream build. My style blends OEM-inspired design with modern updates, aiming for both authenticity and innovation. Since I track my own MR2, many of my parts are tested on the track to ensure durability and performance.

This journey started out of necessity, but it’s grown into a passion for helping other enthusiasts keep these classic cars alive and evolving.
